Bird-a-thon, Mass Audubon's annual fundraiser where teams of birders spend 24 hours trying to spot the most species in Massachusetts, took place May 11-12, 2012.
Always hard at work, the Breeding Bird Atlas Team, aka Bird Conservation, was ready in the early hours of Saturday morning at the North Bridge in Concord. And did you hear they birded on foot? Now that's a green team!
